We provide safety services consisting of safety statements inclusive of risk assessments specific to the equestrian industry. We provide written safety systems of work for risks pertinent to the equestrian industry such as lunging, handling stallions, riding young horses etc.

Olga completed a Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety in UCD in 2001. She has completed Manual Handling ‘Train the Trainer’.

She has been a member of the Institute of Occupational Safety & Health since 2001, she is currently at Graduate status and is completing her portfolio for Chartered Membership.

Olga Murphy worked in the equestrian industry for 10 years and completed her British Horse Society examinations and Preliminary Teaching Test in 1992. Following which she managed a number of riding schools and taught extensively. She went on to work in a variety of different sectors within the industry, as an exercise rider in a racing yard, managed a hunting yard and stud work.

She has given Health and Safety talks at a number of AIRE seminars. She lectures annually on health and safety on a Therapeutic Coaching Programme provided by Festina Lente.

Equine Safety Solutions provides Health and Safety Consultancy Services, to a wide range of prestigious Clients including Olympic Medalist Cian O Connor and former World Show Jumping Champion Dermott Lennon. Other Clients include Tall-Ho Stud producers of numerous Grade 1 winners.

We also have numerous Clients in the Riding School sector and can provide detailed disclaimers and livery contracts as part of our service.

Olga has previous experience preparing safety documentation outside of the equine industry for projects ranging in value from €500,000 to €10 million in value.
